What is your minimum stay?

Minimum stay is 7 nights, Saturday to Saturday. Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 11am. On a day with guests checking in and out on the same day please not that Check-in time is 4pm. 

During non-peak season we may be able to accommodate a 4 night minimum stay if available, so please do ask.

How do we get there?

Fly in to North Eleuthera Airport (ELH) take a quick taxi ride to the dock, hop a quick water taxi to Harbour Island Government Dock. Remember your passport, you will need it.

How do we get to the house?

Taxis await at the Government Dock where they can run you to the house in minutes.

Or you can arrange to have your rental golf cart delivered to the dock.

Do we need to rent a golf cart?

Yes. While Aralia is within walking distance to many things, you will want to rent a golf cart to get around,

grab groceries, explore. ​

 

Are dining reservations recommended?

Yes, they are recommended especially during busy holidays. Contact information provided prior to arrival.

Are there private chefs available?

Yes. Contact information provided prior to arrival.

​

Can we have a party at your house? 

No. While having friends for cocktails or a small dinner party is ok, we are not a venue for large parties, late night or otherwise. 

 

Can you drink the tap water?

Not recommended. We provide 2 large water jugs in the OG house  (instructions for refills are provided.) and have an RO system attached to the sink in the new cottage.

What currency can I use?

The Bahamian dollar is 1:1 with the US dollar. Use either interchangeably.There is a Royal Bank of Canada on the island housing an ATM in its atrium.​ Some places are cash only including some excursions . Have both cash

and a Visa or Mastercard handy.​ Amex is accepted less often.

Can we bring our pet to your house?

No. While we love furry friends we do not allow pets.

 

Can we smoke or vape ?

No. and No. Aralia is a non-smoking property. Inside and out. 

 

Is there a generator?

Yes we have a generator that comes on automatically during a power outage, which does happen from time to time.​

 

How close is the beach?

The pink sand is less than 2 minutes by golf cart (1 minute, 46 seconds to be exact). If you fancy a walk

it is an easy 5 minutes. Access via the stairs next to OVC.​​

 

Can we request groceries / liquor ahead of time?

Yes. We are happy to put you in touch with someone to provision for you prior to your arrival.​
